Christmas morning in the mountains

The colors in this shot are gorgeous. The stark contrast of the bright blue sky against the white snow on the tops of the trees is beautiful. It is amazing how the snow covers every bit of the trees. The way that the shadows create a sort of gradient, getting deeper blue as the sunlight doesn't quite make its way to the bottom of the trees, is wonderful. The clarity of the photo is great, and the title is very fitting. The only thing that isn't ideal about the photo is the shadow of a person(?) at the bottom right of the frame. It would have been nice to capture a photo without that, but sometimes a beautiful shot just has to be taken, no matter what's in the frame! I'm glad that you didn't miss the opportunity to capture this wonderful shot.
